Pros
The IT staff is fun to work with. The staff are helpful. Regular team parties. New President with energy to take on the problems and a killer handshake.
Cons
CIO gets mad if you can't read his mind. Managers tell employees to lay low for a while. Employees that work and make suggestions for improvement are bullied until they leave. If you get involved in Gung Ho games you will be promoted and get bigger raises. If you don't retaliation will come your way. Manager will make a hostile work environment. Lose good IT people that say they don't get paid enough to put up with the crap. A lot of turnover everywhere. VPs and Managers are the worst offenders of HR laws.
