Pros
First of all, Foster Pepper is now Foster Garvey, they just don’t have a page as of yet. The staff is very kind and talented, attorneys are generally understanding of the situation, lovely views, post-merger (Foster Pepper became Foster Garvey) you can forge your own path theoretically.
Cons
The merger has could have been handled much, much better. The majority of staff and many attorneys have left in the last year and a half. Those in charge are largely new, so there doesn’t seem to be anyone who understands what is happening, and no decisions are being made. Additionally, there is nearly zero communication between management and staff. I highly suggest avoiding Foster Garvey until at least 2021 so they can sort out what they want the new firm to look like. It will come around, it just isn’t a glowing opportunity at the moment.
