Pros
Really nice NZ office. They pay well and are flexible. Everyone is treated like adults and they don't have much corporate time-wasting like many other places.
Cons
Almost no real planning at the top. Easy tasks that would make a big positive difference are routinely ignored for difficult projects that have little benefit (and would often be left unfinished). I believe some of this is because of some long time employees protecting their jobs. Framecad would rather hire 10 PhD's who don't even know what a joist is instead of hiring 1 former builder who actually knows a thing or two about steel frame construction. It's a company of 150+ people that could genuinely be run just as well by 30 or less people. Working there felt like a ticking time bomb as someone who is aware of the industry and what some of the customers were really thinking.
