Pros

50+ EMPLOYEES CHEATED IN THE GARB OF IPO. WORST EMPLOYEE DELIGHT for new Kudumba members. Freshworks hired employees making a commitment of certain number of stock units at the time of making offer. Later after employees onboarded, in about 30+ days management at its own whims and fancies reduced that to 20-30% citing board decision post IPO. Shamelessly BACKTRACKED from a WRITTEN COMMITMENT. Seems this is how management is saving money to fund their own BMWs and lavish lifestyles in US. #1 cheaters of SaaS industry is what Girish should mention in his branding. EMPLOYEE DELIGHT IS A BIG SHAM. Think multiple times before you accept the offer as they try to sell hard on stocks. They have back tracked on written offers for 50+ employees in last 3 months (actual number could be much more). NOT EXPECTED!! Ruined our lives who made moves believing in the dream that HR & hiring managers were selling and continue to sell.

Cons

I sincerely wish managers and leadership had not done this at first place. Or at the least course corrected when employees shared discontent. (leaving 5 stars as i want this to show up on the top, otherwise ZERO stars for Freshworks and its management)

Pros

- Mostly good salary/benefits - Nice office - Some decent coworkers

Cons

If you have to do mass layoffs of hundreds of employees every 18 months, leaders need to look in the mirror to find the true problem with the business. Because it's not the competent people that actually get things done that are being laid off with no warning and limited severance. Don't expect any job security here. Also: - Still behind on certain benefits (extremely limited 401k match and bad expense policies not in line with US standards) - Work life balance is hard with large teams in both India and the US - Some employees who have been here 10+ years are completely unresponsive and largely incompetent but still get raises, promotions, and aren't ever scrutinized by leadership. The politics game runs deep here.
