Pros

Pros are some great people are working for the organization, and everyone is generally amiable. Some nice benefits for health insurance, but you're better off sourcing that yourself at a better price if you have a family. There is a commission guarantee for your two months out of training.

Cons

Where do I begin? The onboarding experience was terrible if you're remote and not based in India, death by PowerPoint with sometimes over 70 people on a session, so little opportunity to ask questions. Leadership is seriously lacking, especially in India and favoritism is rife. When I asked my direct manager for a regular 1:1, they said they did not do them. The first team meeting they ran, they simply screamed at their managers to do better with no suggestions for improvements. Every team meeting after that was exactly the same My direct manager was absent most of the time and would maybe speak with me directly a handful of times. When it came to my annual review, all the feedback was a surprise and it was the first time I was hearing it in the review meeting, so no opportunity to correct it. I would have to chase my manager for my quarterly review, and to date still have not had any feedback. Then is an aversion to performance management with reps being in the role underperforming for several months with no action taken, making it impossible to hit targets. Then when you are mandated to performance manage staff, there is no plan to replace them, so you carry ghost targets for the qtr, making it impossible to hit targets.

Pros

- Mostly good salary/benefits - Nice office - Some decent coworkers

Cons

If you have to do mass layoffs of hundreds of employees every 18 months, leaders need to look in the mirror to find the true problem with the business. Because it's not the competent people that actually get things done that are being laid off with no warning and limited severance. Don't expect any job security here. Also: - Still behind on certain benefits (extremely limited 401k match and bad expense policies not in line with US standards) - Work life balance is hard with large teams in both India and the US - Some employees who have been here 10+ years are completely unresponsive and largely incompetent but still get raises, promotions, and aren't ever scrutinized by leadership. The politics game runs deep here.
