Large company so a good benefits Package and 30 days holiday with the option to buy an extra 5 days. Also the possibility to move departments and try something new if you display the right qualities.
Cons
Cons were department specific, I worked in Customer Service in New Business and the department managers were the worst I have ever worked with. I quickly realised that no external candidates had lasted very long. The other managers were internal promotions so that was the only atmosphere they had ever known.
One of the team members had a spray prescribed from their doctor just to use hen going into meetings with of the department managers, awful.
Flexible working hours which is convenient, especially for those with children,
Ideal location next to train station.
Lovely building and surroundings (huge lake area which is very well looked after).
Couldn't fault my manager, although could be more hands-on at times
Cons
Poor salary for the workload, however if you manage to progress within the company (which isn't as achievable as they make out) they pay really well.
The actual manager of the company is hardly ever around (have never met him), and he makes poor company decisions which has resulted in high turnover in some teams.
