Pros
I worked with great team. Of course more than half of the people who knew what they were doing resigned or got laid out. So it's in the past.
Cons
Many. When the team wss still there there were already red flags. GP pays below market - they say they don't but in Ireland it is between 15k-25k below what you can get in other places. You work from home but they only give you a measly 300 euro allowance when you join. They promote people once per year. I have seen SE level 2 consistently doing a work of a senior and still not getting promoted. That stings a lot, but what stings even more is when you see some random people geing promoted that are the butt of jokes - because they hardly do any work. After leadership change the company runs purely on politics. It's all about who you know and whether you will blindly agree to deliver a solution ignorant leadership team wants you to deliver. If not then one day your colleagues suddenly can't reach you on slack, or are surprised that you can't support their project anymore. You just got laid and the leadership team had no common courtesy to even assess the impact it might have on other teams or tell them. Just read other comments. I resigned in the middle of 2023 seeing what the company turns into. They have had 3 rounds of layoffs and the people who stayed (the hard working ones at least) are most likely waiting till March to get the annual bonuses and go somewhere else.
