Pros
I would say that the vast majority of the people I have worked with have been very professional, hard working and knowledgeable. Everyone seems to take their position seriously and works hard to deliver a good solution to the client. At the same time people are polite and friendly so if you need help it's there. The company is small enough to treat people as individuals and accommodate specific requirements, while not being too small to not have the depth of talent. The client base is what it is, some clients want the moon on a stick and others are more reasonable. However I would say that in my experience when the clients do want the impossible they trust us enough to listen to our concerns and work to a common understanding and a sensible solution. I don't get the feeling that as a contractor G3G will do insane things just because the client mistakenly asks for it, but will still attempt challenging requests if required. While clients can sometimes expect you to be there at silly o'clock, I think the work-life balance is dealt with professionally and with little fuss, making it a flexible and fair place to work.
Cons
I've had a lot of job offers recently and on paper they are offering a higher salary and better benefits that my current position. However I can't compare these positions with the current the work-life benefits I enjoy.
