Pros

opportunity if you are young and naïve- they will let you work yourself to death & will never tell you enough is enough. todays favors are tomorrows obligations. Geico will train you but they teach you only what they want you to know- not real-life experiences. Geico likes to keep quiet their profit sharing- normally around 20% of your salary- given as a bonus in spring time. it is a good benefit- they wont give good raises but the profit sharing is nice. You will not get paid fairly for your overtime so it does help to compensate for all the overtime not paid for. Geico spent over 1 BILLION dollars in advertising last year.

Cons

managers are now only micromanagers- no ability to lead but will quick tell you want you did is wrong. new managers & supervisors have very little experience- again- only trained for what Geico wants them to do- they give them dreams of grandeur so they will do whatever the company wants them to do.

Pros

Interesting problems to work on. Good benefits. Decent pay.

Cons

Managers will gaslight you and upper leadership is constantly changing, so expect projects you're working on to be thrown out every 6 months. Many people burn out and quit after some time and are never back filled, so you'll be expected to take on their workload. Some of my colleagues were working 80 hour work weeks to keep up with the work load and yet told they were not performing well enough. There also wasn't much diversity.
