Pros

I make a very good wage as I’ve stayed a long time.

Cons

GEICO has become basically a terrible place to work. All the teams are understaffed so your expectations are impossible. This also means that it severely limits your ability to take any time off if another team member is out. It’s never know when the next wave of layoffs or terminations will happen. Everyone is always waiting for the shoe to drop. Remember that panic you felt as a kid playing musical chairs? There’s also a lot of unfair practices, for example if you go out on FMLA or vacation management will not back those days out of your metrics. You’re always compared to your peers some of whom cheat by doing sloppy work. This inflates their productivity and manipulates the curve. There is no metric that rewards for clean files. I’m leaving and preparing to take a big hit to my income to do so. If you’re still on the fence go to the GEICO subreddit, there’s something like 14,000 members on it.

Pros

Interesting problems to work on. Good benefits. Decent pay.

Cons

Managers will gaslight you and upper leadership is constantly changing, so expect projects you're working on to be thrown out every 6 months. Many people burn out and quit after some time and are never back filled, so you'll be expected to take on their workload. Some of my colleagues were working 80 hour work weeks to keep up with the work load and yet told they were not performing well enough. There also wasn't much diversity.
