Pros

Pays competitively in comparison to similar roles elsewhere

Cons

The cons cost more than the pay is worth. Absolutely nutty insanity is guaranteed. No one knows anything about what they’re doing because all their leadership are call center reps who never worked another company in their life. None of ‘em are certified in their job titles but swing themselves around like they’re gods who have nothing left to learn. Just a wild amount of pure unchecked chaos. Your life will be a nightmare, it will be hell, you will have to find a way to look for jobs on the side. You will regret joining GEICO. It will waste your time, it will not grow your career. Benefits are actively declining, your medications will stop being covered in the middle of the year, people will actually learn LESS over time, No one knows how to use a computer. Not even the senior programmers. Zero Culture, zero psychological safety. If you want to work inside of a cartoon, join geico, but if you want a sane life, even being a delivery driver is less crazy than this.

Pros

I had the opportunity to meet Nancy Pierce during a visit to our office, and she was very personable and engaging. It made a strong impression to see leadership so approachable and willing to connect with employees. Overall, I genuinely enjoy working here and feel supported in my role.

Cons

No significant downsides to mention at this time.

Pros

Strong opportunities for career growth Many people are willing to mentor and support others without expecting anything in return Supportive culture, even from people who may not know you personally Increased focus on education and development, especially for leaders More company activities at the local office, which has been a welcome change Fun associate engagement opportunities like escape rooms, art activities, games, and food events So many opportunities for recognition

Cons

There are still some areas where the company appears to be rebuilding trust and confidence Change is noticeable and appreciated, but some improvements are still in progress Feedback has clearly helped shape recent changes, and it will be good to see that progress continue
