Cons
Insecurity and internal fights supporting certain individuals personal agenda rather than creating value for the firm are unfortunately the two topics that comes to my mind. To experience the downfall of an organization where only few people are rewarded while the rest is left with uncertainty and questionable development, if any, is sad to say the least. 150 yrs of legacy have been ruined by few years of poor management and higher ranked employees who care more about their short term “success” than long term value creation. The pace at which people are promoted naturally raises the question if people with that little experience are capable of fulfilling the role. It is my impression they are not, and the pace rather is a cover for incompetence than a sign of skills.
