Pros

Flexible working arrangements, smart people, great benefits.

Cons

If you are an NC-based employee, the carousel of people leaving is never-ending as R&D is moved to Philadelphia. Atmosphere in the building is terrible and it is sad to see a place decay after so many good years in North Carolina. The amount of experience GSK let walk out the door is shocking. Senior management doesn't care though. Emma Walmsley is about as fake and uninspiring as, well, I don't know what. She is the opposite to Andrew Witty, who made me proud to be an employee. Long history of senior managers making terrible decisions and then getting promoted and not having to face the fallout from their decisions (hope you are reading this Moncef).

Pros

Can't emphasize enough how approachable, non-judgmental, and supportive the team is, both managers and colleagues. Everyone genuinely cares about your holistic professional development and growth.

Cons

This may seem unrealistic, but I genuinely did not have a single negative experience during my time here.
