Pros

Great culture towards continuous improvement in certain areas of the company. The intent to spread that culture is company wide is certainly there. Work-life balance isn't too bad (can't say the same for all roles though). The benefits and vacation allowance (at least 3 weeks to start off with, including end of year shut down) are fair, and help employees balance out the stresses of the job (using all of the allotted vacation days is certainly encouraged by management for health/energy resilience of employees).

Cons

As in all companies, there tends to be a bit of office politics when it comes to promotions. There are certainly people who get stuck at a certain level for years, even with good performance reviewed. The job grade level structure was 'simplified' a few years ago, which makes it tougher for upward mobility with seniority and performance. Salary negotiations within a band are often frowned upon, again even with good performance. All in all - the culture of continuous improvement, high energy, and high morale gets stifled by the fact that good people don't feel like they have anywhere to go except laterally - and even lateral movements can be stifled by politics especially if salary adjustments are requested.
