Pros
Overtime(mandatory though). Infrequent lay-offs. There are none other pros that I can think of at the moment.
Cons
Twelve hour work days and low pay. Point system for being late (even 1 minute) or leaving early(even 1 minute), or clocking in too early. Managers badgering you to stay late. Repetitive tasks that wear down your wrists. Two fifteen minute breaks for an eight hour shift. No lunch break. One additional fifteen minute break for a twelve hour shift. Constant updates to mandatory protocol that aren't communicated until you don't follow them. Communication was unclear; a disconnect between managers expectations and what you were told to do by your group leader. A laissez faire approach at first then at the first hint of production issues an overbearing intimidation approach to deal with 'employee issues'. These tactics usually include domineering body language and hints of loss of job security if you don't stay after or build a certain number of parts. If you get done "too early" they threaten to increase production numbers.
