Pros
The team running Gain Life is one of the best teams I've ever had the chance to be a part of. The CEO is incredibly kind, has incredible business acumen, and is a remarkably agile leader. The advisory team is full of humble people at the top of their game with immense experience. The team also is sure to get perspectives from women and people of color, ensuring that everyone has a meaningful seat at the table. The high level of respect that I felt at Gain Life set a strong foundation for what I've look for in companies in my career since.
Cons
Working at a startup often leads to a different compensation model than an established company. This is something that I really liked and is one of the reasons that I sought out Gain Life, but it's something to be aware of and to make sure you're excited about if you're just getting into this space.
