Pros

I have been working remotely for them for more than 2 years now. Being in another country, in another culture and not in direct day-by-day contact can be difficult, but from the very start I have felt very well received. Any support or help I may need, I got it. The offices they have in USA and EU work completely synchronized, although they are in different timezones. They appreciate hard work and have a very innovative way of doings things. They are really open mind and do not hesitate in trying new methods of doings things and are open to suggestions from employees.

Cons

Some periods can become stressful, due to an overload of work. This is common to this whole industry, but at GTL at least they compensate you at the end of these periods, if you need some time off.

Pros

I worked out of the LA office for 2 1/2 years. -At GameScribes you get to work on a lot of really cool games — even games that aren't out yet (so that's kind of fun) — and work with your fellow gamers! -The team is tight-knit, but super welcoming and friendly. -It's a pretty relaxed working environment (good West Coast hours), but be prepared to work hard -Management is very approachable and transparent -Quiet office in a safe neighborhood between Santa Monica and Brentwood, some good food options around and lots of other conveniences (hospital, bank, CVS, etc.) -Pay is decent especially for industry first-timers or recent graduates. -You'll learn a lot every day!

Cons

-The commute is not for everyone (I drove between 40 mins-1 1/2 hours each way) -No onsite parking, but that's pretty typical for the Santa Monica area -You're not DEVELOPING games, so if that's what you're looking for, this is not for you
