the CTO is technically competent

The founder and CEO engages in unethical practices: - asks you to do 12hr per day work trial as a part of the hiring process - pays you no over time and pays minimum wage for high skilled role. - have to do multiple back and forth to even set up payroll - comes off as haughty and speaks ill of other founders in the space Overall just a bad person that you would not want to associate with. Their ideal exit might be selling to Harvey or they just fade into obscurity in a few years when there's better tools than what they have.

The people in general were amazing. A lot of room to grow. Very safe environment. Founders were extremely hard working which was very motivating to be around.

Some bad brief hires on the executive level which changed the culture for a bit
