Pros

Pay, benefits, inclusivity, flexibility, training - the company does a lot of things right in these areas. Many people do well but you have to lean way in and make the job an outsized part of your life. Gartner generally does figure things out (in terms of its own growth strategy) and they are an indispensable part of most companies. Very well regarded and very well known company.

Cons

Demanding and somewhat toxic sales culture, lots of turnover on account management side, very metrics driven. You are paid well but are expected to perform, company trying to find its footing to get back to double digit growth and it will fall on the shoulders of sales. Success is a matter of your sales territory and manager. If you aren't doing great they will make you feel it by all the adoration showered on top performers.

Pros

Being a globally recognized company makes it easy to consistently engage clients. Great benefits. Amazing people (managers and colleagues) For the most part there is a clear path to success and promotions. Executives listen to feedback after every internal call to help guide strategy.

Cons

In office mandate increasing in office days from once a month to once a week. Need to live in Florida or Texas because of the in office mandate. Promotions take a while since there are many people going for the same roles. Hard to reach clients and constant territory’s shifting makes it difficult to achieve the numbers you and management expect.
