Pros

If you would like to work for an organisation where you can challenge yourself every day, learn about the complexities and intricacies of a global company, strategy planning, work across regions then Gartner is for you. I truly believe working efficiently, building a good strong network and driving your own success through personal reflection, initiative, taking a keen interest in the market and the company you will have a very successful career ahead of you here! I appreciate an organisation that can see the value of intellect, innovation, hard work and can provide 2 coffee shops for the addicts among us ;)

Cons

I can certainly see a need for innovation within some of our TA processes and culture. This will of course come with time while we establish ourselves as a newly medium size business, however I would look to push for us to be pro-active when assessing Div&Inc selection outside of NA and lead the way to address gender bias/hiring through internal education.

Pros

Being a globally recognized company makes it easy to consistently engage clients. Great benefits. Amazing people (managers and colleagues) For the most part there is a clear path to success and promotions. Executives listen to feedback after every internal call to help guide strategy.

Cons

In office mandate increasing in office days from once a month to once a week. Need to live in Florida or Texas because of the in office mandate. Promotions take a while since there are many people going for the same roles. Hard to reach clients and constant territory’s shifting makes it difficult to achieve the numbers you and management expect.
