Toxic culture, backstabbing, disregard for new ideas, a lot of pep talk that does not translate into anything. Very fake. The only way up is to cozy up to some GVP, trash your co-workers and pretend to care about whatever flavor of the day initiative they are pushing. This also means you are going down once that is over. Management is very seasoned, too old for new tech world that changes very fast. Decisions take weeks and months. GVP leaders are with Gartner for over 20 years, have no clue how the real world works anymore. Quality of research is declining. Clients are starting to see that. After CEB acquisition, company is growing fast and old leadership cannot keep up. They still act as if this is a mom and pop shop they came from.
