Pros

Some great people, very good place to start a sales career as they teach a fine process and put a lot of emphasis on learning from management. Once you've learnt the sales basics, there isn't really any room to master the art of the sell, as they micro-manage and don't welcome creative ideas.

Cons

The process is very rigid, it is sold as "Challenger selling" on here which it isn't at all - more like 80's spin selling. They don't have any tolerance for ideas outside of the process and feedback isn't welcomed. Micro-management is rife, from bosses sitting over your shoulder to check your proposals, to "win rooms" where you have deals (which should be straightforward) dissected by managers, with little useful input. Very salesy culture which can be good fun, but too much emphasis on cold calling and harrassing prospects that told you "no" a week ago. Little diversity, very male dominated - they seem to only hire private school rugby types. Heard offensive language towards women from my (male) boss. Don't really care for their people - I left after 5 years and was told on the last day they'd forgotten to organise an exit interview.

Pros

Being a globally recognized company makes it easy to consistently engage clients. Great benefits. Amazing people (managers and colleagues) For the most part there is a clear path to success and promotions. Executives listen to feedback after every internal call to help guide strategy.

Cons

In office mandate increasing in office days from once a month to once a week. Need to live in Florida or Texas because of the in office mandate. Promotions take a while since there are many people going for the same roles. Hard to reach clients and constant territory’s shifting makes it difficult to achieve the numbers you and management expect.
