Pros
Pay is okay, and you'll make some great friends by bonding over the challenges you're all facing.
Cons
The management is appalling. Your direct manager and their manager will have got to where they are by stepping all over people and taking you for granted. If issues arise, they never blame management errors and always find a scapegoat to take the blame. The culture centers around self-interest. Some of your colleagues will become good friends, and the rest of them will go out of their way to make your life harder because they're competing with you. At other companies, HR is there to help and support its people. Here, HR works for management and anything you tell them goes back to management. That'll then be used against you. Career progression is non-existent. If you ask for promotion or a pay rise you'll get told you're better off not asking. Benefits are uncompetitive in comparison to other similar companies.
