Pros
Good health and dental insurance (Used to be better, but is still better than a lot of other employers). All holidays are off work with pay, and there is an extended time off at Christmas.
Cons
It might sound great, but theres very little oversight of what you are doing. Supervision is poor. Theres a huge amount of NEPOTISM in the hiring process, which means many hires are not qualified for their position -- they got their job because they know someone. Check it out, many many employees are related. Your work environment can be dirty and unkept, depending on which campus you are working on. If there is a problem within your job, more than likely you are SOL, because of "diversity" and DEI, and a host of other touchy-feely reasons -- no one will help you. Can't fire most of the people, because they are related to someone. Not having supervisors that stand behind you, are knowledgeable, decision-makers is very frustrating.
