Cons
This is a sweatbox atmosphere. Managers are uncaring and uninterested in the workers' well-being. You are docked for a one hour lunch break, but are not expected to do so. When you leave your desk for one hour, you are harassed and asked where you have been for so long. Or, if there is an emergency issue, management can not handle it as back-up and becomes angry with the personnel cause they took a break. There is absolutely no down time. The accounting department was moved to a dilapidated warehouse with lots of hazards. There is not an elevator or handicap access. Management does not listen and are totally aloof to the daily processes of their subordinates. Anytime, process changes are suggested it is approved and then immediately shot down when pressure is lodged by other departments who do not want to do their job. The company is not willing to change outdated processes, dilapidated work environments and antiquated equipment and software. I have seen fights on the accounting floor and in the parking lot. There is no professionalism and it is totally acceptable if you have more functional knowledge than the managers.
