Pros

Joining Generis is like being drafted to a championship sports team. Everyone in leadership is there because they have excelled as an individual contributor and now they want to pass on what they've learned to the next generation. The company is growing so there are high expectations for everyone coming in, but the rewards are substantial, in fact I out earn a lot of my friends in tech. What I like most about Generis is the regular feedback I receive from my manager on what I can do better in my role, along with how we celebrate every win and congratulate all new hires on their first deal, including shouting them out at the end of month socials with the whole company. There is an authenticity to everything and everyone here thats hard to describe, its a work hard, play hard culture in the best sense, but if you are the type who takes initiative, is persistent, and is coachable, you can do very well here!

Cons

Like any sales job you occasionally have to put in extra hours. This could be doing leads, practicing your pitch, assembling an email list, or traveling to an event. This is explained during the interviews but it could be considered a con if what you care about most is work life balance.

Great place to learn the inter workings of high level commerce. Advanced sales, positive culture, everyone is all hands on deck from the CEO on.

Cons

Relentless fast tempo coupled with a constant high level of intensity can be draining.
