Pros

Lots of freedom and flexibility to work remotely and in a fashion you're most comfortable with

Cons

Not a lot of formal training or on-the-job mentoring. Online training is a joke. No formal recognition to speak of either. Employees who do a good job of marketing themselves internally get more acknowledgement than those who work diligently to market the company. (Case in point: In the same year that I developed a piece of content that directly led to a quarter of a million dollars in new business I ended up laid off amid a wave of Covid 19 cutbacks..)

Pros

Market rate compensation, not much else

Cons

AI is dismantling Genpact’s services-focused business model. The result is a toxic work environment with a dying culture: fear of layoffs, unclear goals, constant turnover, and remaining employees absorbing multiple roles as colleagues are fired or leave.
