Pros

I think GYG is an awesome place to work for anyone who is looking for a global career in travel tech as an engineer, product manager, or marketer/sales person. I have been working here for less than a year, but I absolutely love that my colleagues are from all over the world. Most importantly, the mission of helping people create unforgettable experiences and memories is so much better than building a product to get people to buy more stuff. People here are supportive, you have a healthy work-life balance, and you are given the autonomy to lead and experiment. The team worked super hard and bounced back from the pandemic like a rockstar, and there's a lot of energy as travel opens up now. What I have also noticed is that the team values clarity and trusts you to do great work - which is empowering (and also scary) at times. But, if you thrive in that environment, GYG is the right place for you. My favorite are programs that help you grow internally - it's fantastic to see that. I have worked in companies that say that they are open to internal movements but don't really do anything to empower employees. GYG puts money where its mouth is and has programs to help with it. It's great and I'd recommend the team keep doing that!

Cons

Can get really fast-paced at times
