Pros

At Getty, we are allowed the freedom to excel in our roles in the way we are most comfortable in. As a Research Editor, it allows me to share with customers what we believe in at Getty through content. Flexible and forward thinking work culture allows us to be able to handle both our personal lives and work more seamlessly. The colleagues and team-mates are the best part of the business as everyone is helpful and proactive.

Cons

Career progression for certain roles may be limited or slow.

Hello and thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback in the form of a Glassdoor review. We appreciate your experience working with us as a Research Editor for over 4 years. I am quite pleased that you feel that you have the autonomy and flexibility to be successful in your role, and can creatively share your voice through the content that you provide customers. When the pandemic began, it caused us to rethink how we work and where we work, which allowed for greater flexibility to work in a setting that you feel most productive and supported. We will continue to operate with Flexible Working Principles so that employees can balance personal and professional obligations. To your mention of career progression, we recognize that there is opportunity to improve in this key area. As such, our HR team is working with functional leaders to build out clear career ladders for every single role, team, and function so that there is an increased level of transparency. There is exciting work ahead in this space and we cannot wait to continue to share updates! If you have any additional information that you would like to share, please feel free to reach out to me at carly.etzin@gettyimages.com. Thank you!

It’s also great to know that you found our environment supportive with opportunity for growth - we always aim to ensure employees feel that they can learn and grow within their role, and others. Pros

WFH, good overall culture. Good people.

Cons

Leadership has been slow to stay current and modern in the workplace. The business is straddled with debt from a pervious investment company that had bought Getty and gutted it. Future is uncertain.
