Pros
It truly is a supportive environment. I have wonderful colleagues who make an effort to get along with one another. The factions and backstabbing that are often found in academia are relatively minimal here. People want each other to succeed, and that makes it a pleasant place to work.
Cons
It can be a bit sleepy. People are afraid to step on each others toes, which is mostly a good thing, but perhaps a little more passion and drive wouldn't hurt.
