Pros

Very good benefits package Strong company values Friendly coworkers and a “flat” leadership structure Dedicated to being fully remote work Freedom to find your own niche

Cons

Social discourse can be very idealistic Things were extremely chaotic as of 2025 when I left Company values diversity neurodiversity - but not much awareness of it among managers Remote work is much harder to do than you might think

Thanks for your detailed and thoughtful review. We appreciate both the positives you highlighted and the constructive feedback about areas for improvement. Regarding neurodiversity awareness, you've identified an important area for growth. While we have resources available - including dedicated neurodiversity support channels, coaching through Modern Health, and reasonable accommodation processes handbook.gitlab.com/handbook/company/culture/inclusion/neurodiversity-resources, We're actively developing DIB masterclasses and neurodiversity workplace courses to address this gap. Thanks for taking the time to share such specific, actionable feedback. Input from technical team members like yourself is essential for our continued improvement.

Pros

Best company I've ever worked for. Strong culture, great leadership, competitive compensation, excellent work life balance, and a genuine focus on employee well being and career growth.

Cons

Fast paced environment and high expectations, but that's part of working at a successful, growing company.

Pros

OK pay or benefits in the market. Fully remote. Still is trying to frame itself as a big player.

Cons

Leadership went from being collaborative, communicative, and transparent, to being mercurial, secretive, and out of touch with the actual work. OBSESSSES over your AI usage metrics - even if AI doesn't help you and slows you down. The current layoff in progress was communicated poorly and not planned at all. And now they want us to adore the leaders and the company? Cultish vibes. We went from a company that plans ahead to a company that reacts.
