Pros
Global has something special about the company that in my experience as a sales executive is hard to find. There's a sense of family, team, and oneness. The posture is laid back, while at the same time focused. There's a mutual goal for moving forward, growing the business, making sure everyone is being successful, the sharing of ideas, and a constant eagerness to be better than the day before. I contribute this to great management and leadership focused on taking care of its employees and striving towards the success of it customers.
The product works, customers are in love with Spreadsheet Server and the suite of software tools they offer. The company looks to have a strong future. This makes it great for sales and marketing to have a tool that works and you can leverage and stand behind confidently. Moreover, it is evident that Global views every customer as a priority and is willing to do whatever it takes to make it's customers happy for ensuring long partnerships.
One word to describe Global Software: Integrity
One more big perk: Stand-up desks
Cons
There are aspects and preferences you can find that could be better for every person or company you come in contact with. At Global, there are more great things than there are less than preferable things. Some of the cons I would include are:
Not everybody works from one location.
There could be better tools in place for sales/marketing
Training could be better
Greater collaboration between departments
Cordless headphones.
