Pros

I think Go1 moving from a start-up to a scale up has rightly had to make a lot of changes but ultimately all those changes have been for the better of the company. Go1 offers a truly unique product with such a wide scope and an incredible partner network too. Choosing the right product was such a big piece for me and I'm so glad that I chose Go1. I joined Go1 as an SMB AE and got promoted to a mid market AE after around 15 months, I've seen others around me get promoted or move into different roles too. After being in the MM role my manager and I are already starting to work on a plan of how I can get to enterprise AE so career goals are taken seriously. Really good opportunity to progress at Go1. The leadership is fantastic at Go1, my manager in particular in the UK, but also the exec team and founders know me by name and have messaged me on multiple occasions too. It takes a while to get into the swing of things, 6-12 months, we had a 3-month ramp of guaranteed commission. The pay is really good too, the targets are totally achievable, I've overachieved on my OTE by a long shot which is more than most SaaS sales people are doing at the moment with most struggling to hit 80% these days. Office location is awesome, central covent garden, we go for drinks every week after work. And also get taken out for dinner and other perks which is nice. In short, I see myself being at Go1 for years to come and recommend it as a place to work all the time! Other nice pros are that you get shares, lots of training opportunities (obviously), very nice and welcoming team that win together.

Cons

Would be nice to get the same benefits as the US/APAC: Healthcare, office snacks have been cut back, not many people go into the office regularly (maybe why there's less snacks). Must be hungry - I'm talking about snacks a lot here. Oh and we used to get weekly deliveroo vouchers which was such a nice treat. Hopefully that comes back. Salesforce/data/lead routing is such a mess. I've seen quite a lot of redundancies since being at Go1 which has been a shame to see so many people leave, but without sounding harsh I think it was needed, in most cases there was vast underperformance and often little effort.

Pros

Go1 has a lot of amazing people who are working hard to shift the business towards a new vision which will be significantly more competitive and is inspiring to be a part of. Past years of Go1 have felt like the product strategy slowed or stalled, but the energy has begun to rebound as we’ve re-envisioned the product direction. It’s exciting to be part of. The people are genuinely kind, the in-person get togethers (GoGether) are fun and well planned, the culture has improved a lot in the last year!

Cons

Go1 is evolving quickly (feels like a lot of change) because the market is evolving quickly. It can feel overwhelming at times, but better to be moving fast and changing directions vs staying static!
