Cons
Speaking about my department ONLY Favoritism played a big role. Inexperienced people were put in high leadership roles and made incredibly irresponsible and impulsive decisions that were blindly supported by CEO. Even though the other departments run smoothly without any micromanagement , my department was vigorously questioned and intimidated.
Also,employee without the skill set for the job was promoted to a leadership role, based on seniority. But spend a day doing one thing that should take one hour and when they stay overtime they are praised for “working hard”
They say they base everything on seniority. From promoting people, laying off people or giving people insignificant perks. The department is going under and suddenly the manager’s favorite stayed, even though someone else had seniority over them.
Extreme lack of emotional responsibility and care for their employees. This is based on my department only. Other departments seemed to have a good culture and relationship.
