Pros

Being in a gym, Comfortable work clothes.

Cons

Management doesn't know a thing about fitness or personal training. Most of the day is spent cold-calling people who have elected not to train, so most are unhappy to be getting a call trying to sell them personal training packages. If you dont have a training session, you can pick up floor hours, which can include cleaning, making minimum wage. The problem with floor hours is that you may have a couple per day at most, so if you don't have clients and you can't have floor hours, you're there for free. Also, the huge problem I had with it was cornering the paying members of the facility and practically guilting them into a free "assessment." It was honestly terrible.
