Pros

Gym life & community. Connections Can workout during hours

Cons

Unfortunately I was at a franchise and not corporate and didn’t have benefits… signed paper I work 40 hours a week with 5 hours of approved overtime, and looked down on if I didn’t work 60+ with all extra hours non paid for… Go through slow months as many other better gyms in the area for better competition. If it was corporate ran, this position would be better… short term growth and not a long term growth, use this position or any positions at gyms like this for short term, people usually stay 1 month - 1 1/2 years it seems… if you’re longer than that you’re in the position of owning the gym yourself or “regional manager” no other room for growth, perhaps corporate can be better growth into the corporate side with marketing / development/ area, but franchise owned privately is very little growth. 7am-8pm type of job Monday through Saturday… little training and they hope you get it and start bumping numbers, as this is the numbers game. Doesn’t matter if you double last month and got the gym on a positive income on the balance sheet for the first time in months during your first month there. If you aren’t hitting one of the numbers back from 2012 and 2019 numbers than you’re still going to get pushed out… upper management won’t train you or help and if they do they will help very little.

Pros

Nothing. Do not even think its going to be good.

Cons

Everything. Company is using software from two decades ago. Their daily company meetings are pointless. The company is ran by juice heads who are only promoted because they been with the company for awhile, not because they excel and know how to train and develop people. They run through people like no tomorrow because the pay is under industry standard.
