Pros
Outside of management, most of the coworkers are nice.
Cons
Management is constantly over you telling you to be on the phone and be busy. Even when you are busy and take a moment to breathe, they will call you out for being quiet and ask what you are working on. There is no room for any type of workplace conversation. Just 9 hours of answering phones to book loads, making outbound calls to book loads, answering emails to book loads. If you stop any of that for more than 30 seconds, you are quickly reminded that you need be pounding the phones. there is no sense of accomplishment in your work because it is quickly overshadowed by management demanding more from you. your best is not enough. unless you are matching their top performer, you are not good enough. to put that into perspective, their top performer is booking 900 loads a month. if you can also book 900 loads a months, then you are golden and this place is for you. if you can't book 900 loads, then be prepared to be told that you can't go home until the loads are covered. While everyone else who is not a carrier sales rep is going home on time, you may be their more than an hour longer more often than not. Not a single manager will see anything wrong with this. Did i forget to mention account managers may/will yell at you? the company recently hired some real characters.
