Pros

Fellow employees are hard working

Cons

Low Salaries with very few raises given, To much work on one desk and processes constantly change. The rules do not apply evenly to everyone. Men and the NY team get special treatment. During this crisis there was no empathy from the owner. The CA office has to go into the office even though no clients visit and we have the ability to work remote. Everything is done via email. Office is not being cleaned regularly. Owner does not wear a mask and 6ft distance is not kept. Overall low morale and toxic environment.

Pros

I’ve had an incredibly positive experience working here. The company truly values its employees and it shows in the culture, support from leadership, and opportunities to grow. Hard work does not go unnoticed. People who consistently show up, perform, and contribute to the team are recognized and rewarded. This is sales! Management is approachable, respectful, and genuinely cares about their teams both professionally and personally. When challenges arise, leadership is willing to listen and work toward solutions rather than ignore problems. That kind of support creates a motivating environment where people want to do their best. The team culture is another huge plus. There’s a strong sense of collaboration and people are always willing to help one another succeed. It’s a place where you can work hard, have fun, and feel proud of the results you achieve together. Overall, it’s been a great place to build experience, grow as a professional, and be surrounded by motivated, supportive people. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have been part of a company that truly invests in its employees and rewards those who put in the effort.

Cons

Like any growing company, there can occasionally be process changes or adjustments as the business evolves. While this can sometimes create short-term challenges, leadership is typically receptive to feedback and works quickly to improve things.

Pros

Some genuinely great coworkers. Many strong friendships formed simply from surviving the environment together.

Cons

Severe micromanagement and clear favoritism from leadership. It’s an environment where territory is decided on who hired you and dialing metrics matter far more than the quality of the insurance advice or sales being made. Management openly promotes a fear-based culture, even admitting that making employees uncomfortable is part of their strategy to drive productivity. Concerns raised by the sales team are consistently ignored, which contributes to extremely high turnover. Long hours, nights, weekends, and working through lunch are often expected or strongly encouraged. Adding extra layers of management to cover up the real issues doesn’t work, and openly putting down current and past employees openly caused a toxic atmosphere. The benefits offered favored employees in California leaving NY employees to pay high premiums for families with little coverage. Raises were only offered when there was a crisis like when half the sales team quit in one month.
