Pro's were that I worked with some really cool people that I had hit it off with. Free snacks and lax weekends.
Cons
Extremely unprofessional. There were over a 100 things that they did that were shady and suspicious throughout my time with Grasshopper Solar but this company took the cake at the end of my employment. I had gotten a better job that literally paid double what I made at Grasshopper ( They pay extremely low and entice you with promotions and increase of salary but found out very quickly but was not true) I informed them that I had received the job and gave my 2 week notice. At the time my department was in turmoil and I decided to become part time and work on the weekends while working at my new job. during I did this for 2 1/2 months until the day after my last shift my manager texted me and said " Hello, we have decided that we don't need you to work on weekends anymore. Thank you for your contributions". So I was FIRED because they deemed it not busy enough on weekends anylonger. I called them asked firstly why they would text me thatI was being fired, and than proceeded to ask them why they haven't given me some sort of notice like I had given them. Manager aplogized for the outrageaous text message and I informed them that under labor law's they owed me one whole paycheque, HR agreed and they said they would be issuing me one more pay cheque and that was 2 months ago and I was never paid. So all in all that is just 1 horror Grasshopper Solar story out of hundreds. This company has about 3 people quitting a week and another taking their place by the end of the same week. Never have I worked for such unprofessionalism. Still haven't got my last pay cheque! :(
