Pros

Greater Giving isn't innovative BUT they are quick to catch up. Appreciated that they seemed ahead of the curve when it came to new ways to donate (QR codes, online bidding etc). Flexible when it came to work/life balance. Demanding work but if there was a family emergency or needing FMLA. They treated you like family to make sure you're ok. Most co-worker or associates are truly wonderful people that believe what they are doing is making a difference in the non profit world. (And they are). A lot if the employees that have been there for any decent amount if time, liked to hoard information, trying to make themselves invaluable. Causes a rift in client services between New employees and existing (see comment in cons about acceptance vs tolerated

Cons

More room for advancement. Giving credit, where credit is due. (Solved a problem that plagued Clients Events, days if not weeks to fix.) There is a definite line if being accepted or tolerated throughout - the reason I began to loathe going to work.

Pros

This is a fun company to work for. Lots of changes as we navigate a Covid exit but company has embraced changes. Going to a much more remote company. Is currently making a large effort for inclusion and diversity and not just to check off a box. Company culture being driven not just from top down but includes all who work here. Company even does a free day off during the summer that is not PTO to just skip work, a la Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Lots of employees at all levels of company have been here for years and thy love it. There are also growth opportunities.

Cons

A little bureaucracy from corporate parent but that is common amongst enterprise organizations. Growing pains and resource constraints.

Pros

if you are looking to be underpaid and overworked, with a horrible code base, you can make some fast cash

Cons

Mgmt is inept overall...problem is systematic Company treats developers like uber drivers Unpaid overtime Unpaid on call Unpaid requirement to stay up until 4am on release nights Code base is over 20 years old Highschool students in the 90's wrote a key piece of the system that is used to this day (not a joke) Dev Dept is basically abused by all departments with poor mgmt No room to learn or improve This is a place where developers go to be sent off to the glue factory The IT dept is the most lazy and incompetent group of individuals I have ever encountered Job is bad for your health Dead weight all over the place
