Pros

The people are mostly nice. (people, not the management) A couple of the managers are good to work with. A few folks know the industry inside-out and will help you understand it better.

Cons

Consider this place only if you have no other offer, and need a job desperately. 1. Please do not fall for the lunch they provide as the only benefit other than healthcare. The lunch is average at best and is not worth the career fall and the lack of flexibility during emergencies. 2. The work you do does not matter, but the time you spend in the office does - according to the management. It reflects in their time, leave and LOP policies. 3. Be prepared to be monitored for every move. 4. Do not expect to be encouraged or recognised for your achievements. They have a "recognitions and achievements award" given once in 3 months, but no one would know who you are or what you have contributed. That's how little they care about it and will hold these events (including boring fun Fridays) for the sake of it. 5. The management is partial, and if you kiss enough of their a**es, you might get a hike in a year with some respect. Not all managers will have your back. 6. The industry you expect to work in during the interview may not be the only industry you will work on projects for. (shhh, there goes the transparency) 8. Do not join this place if you think you can do better.

Pros

Exposure to real-world problem solving in a fast-paced startup environment. Opportunity to take ownership of tasks and learn independently. Some scope to experiment with tools and automation, although largely self-driven.

Cons

Strict nine-hour daily policy with salary deductions for shortfall, regardless of productivity. Frequent expectation to work beyond hours and on weekends. Poorly designed database structure makes even simple queries complex and inefficient. Lack of proper data and infrastructure makes fraud detection and analysis extremely difficult. Minimal support from management—delayed responses, no regular feedback, and lack of one-on-one discussions. No investment in automation, leading to repetitive manual work. Constant pressure from business teams to generate insights from unreliable or incomplete data. Overall unstructured and frustrating work environment.
