Pros

I started with Greencopper early this year. Greencopper is a fun place to work. I have been previously in other startups and Greencopper impressed me with its strong product & great team. The company is really flexible with employees (unplanned last minute personal business, remote work, etc.). It’s fun also to work with well-known festivals (the company sent 10 persons to Coachella this year in LA!!!).

Cons

I don’t see many problems right now. But if you look for a routine place to work for then it’s not the place for you, everyone is really dynamic and accept being challenged, even the founders.

Pros

- strong solidarity and team spirit within the employees - very interesting product and awesome customers - a great potential when it comes to the core product and the employees - lots of technical challenges - strong culture and values that were keeping everyone motivated...before it disappeared!

Cons

- poor management : the top management rarely truly listen to their employees. Recently, lack of empathy and humanity. - boy's club spirit : difficult for women to be heard from the top management team. - too much confidence given to out-of-the-blue consultants and external strategists. Not enough trust given to the employees that actually know the customers and the product. - not enough recognition for the employees who do the actual work - lack of transparency about the company strategies. - hard work and extra hours (not paid) are the norm. Burn-out among employees is common. Nothing was made to prevent that. - not enough training given to interns or new comers.

Pros

A good atmosphere between the employees, internal people try to build something, impressive self investment feeling. Very big potential with talented people and a solid product. People support and learn a lot from each other.

Cons

Internal people have promising vision of the company but they're not heard. They are rarely considered and valued despite the investment and frequent overtime hours. For some reason, the direction prefer to give their trust to external ressources on major key points. Added to a lot of very long working weeks, it is not uncommon that best and oldest elements leave when it is not simply the direction that decides to separate.
