Pros
Like any Job, you'll find things are not perfect from time to time but I find personally most situations are what you make of them.
So its a pretty large building , 100+ employees, and more books than you can every read. Nice, safe, affluent community with easy access to I95, The Merit, buses, and Metro North.
I've seen a lot of internal promotional, which generally is a good thing and a sign things are working. There are also transfer opportunities as this is a town of Greenwich Job, always good to know and keep in your back pocket. I happen to think I have great bosses, but everybody is welcome to their own opinions, I get it, seriously I do.
I feel like I've brought a lot, but also that I've learned a lot and grown.
Remember this is a union environment, that can be a learning curve for some. The pay is Good as compared to other places. The work reasonable.
The new batch of hires seem to bring a lot of energy and seem pretty well educated, so the Bar may be pretty high ( I'm not involved there)
At the end of the day I can honestly say I'm happy I came here, and found some people that i love ( an inside Joke).
I've found challenges and successes, made some good friends and found some really good books, what more can you really ask for at the end of the day?
