7yGroundspeed takes the feedback, wellness, and development of all of our employees very seriously. We recognize that, even as a technology company, it is our people that will achieve the exciting breakthroughs in engineering and data science to accomplish our vision and mission. That is why we put a lot of effort into providing the right opportunities, benefits, and culture to not only attract great talent but, more importantly, provide every member of our team opportunities to grow and flourish as their effort and capabilities allow. In addition, we adhere to a core set of values that focus on positivity, effort, growth and supporting each other through thick and thin. As such, we offer the following response to this review:
We do not condone or tolerate behavior or comments that disparage the skills, experiences and capabilities of fellow employees - this contradicts our core values.
We have an outstandingly talented and diverse Data Analyst team consisting of people with academic backgrounds in economics, physics, math, comp sci, engineering, biology, as well as music and sociology. Most have earned an MS or PhD from top universities. To say they lack “relevant experience” or “tech skills” does not reflect the wonderfully diverse, intelligent and vibrant Data Analyst team we have built.
We welcome and encourage constructive criticism from our employees. We value people that think differently WHILE ALSO respecting others, and practicing kindness.
At Groundspeed, who you are as a person is more important than what you do since, quite frankly, we think everyone does something important here. That is why a great fit with our culture is of paramount importance to us. With the right attitude and the trust and support of our teammates, we can individually and collectively achieve great things. So, in terms of this review, we would refer to our core values of: "Positivity, Being Positive is a Choice" and "Selflessness, In the TEAM we trust".
