Pros

Plenty of room for advancement and compensation is competitive. There is a fantastic sales training program that give you the tools you need to succeed. Culture has shifted but it still a very positive environment.

Cons

Lack of transparency into methodology of how targets are set. When large changes occur there is often a bottle neck in finance/commissions to finish career progression and compensation plans for reps, which causes a large amount of unrest.

We appreciate your feedback, so thanks for taking the time to write a review. Our Sales training program is something we’ve put a lot of work into, so it’s great to read that you find it helpful. We’re also glad that you find compensation to be competitive, especially when you take into account the full benefits package alongside it. We understand that it can take time to adjust to changes within the Sales department, but as long as employees such as yourself believe in our mission and focus on long-term success, we believe Groupon can achieve awesome things.

Learned a great deal here. My first big guy job and the responsibilities kept me focused and motivated. I grew a lot as a person at Groupon as well

Cons

Not many cons. People are really cool.

Pros

Gaining experience targeting multiple industries

Cons

Management doesn’t care about you. Unrealistic goals. Everyone at 30-40% of quota. Complicated quota attainment system. Your job is to ask for 70% of margins for small businesses that have only 10-15% margin budgets
