Pros
Groupon allows you the freedom to be who you are, which allows a large open forum to share ideas no matter how far out they are....and potentially allowing you to drive your own career path. The world really is your oyster here at this stage of the game. As long as you are doing your job, you can take as much paid time off as needed. It has to be one of the funnest environments to work in. It inspires success. Groupon employs some of the best when it comes to customer service, marketing, management, & editorial.
Cons
My only real gripe, and for some this could be a big one, is they don't have a very structured fair compensation plan for sales yet and no match on 401k. In regards to compensation, salaries vary across the board even when success & experience are equal. In addition, commission paid out can be very dependent on the market you work in. There are definitely some sales that work just as hard, are just as skilled, are just as experienced, and make much less in commission than others (and by less we are comparing thousands of dollars a month).
