Pros

Easy work, decent people to work with.

Cons

The company isn't very organized. Currently going through constant changes with personnel and the way they operate which has become a problem for some of the employees. The hours are extremely inconsistent, and we rarely get 40 hours in one week. Payroll is never calculated accurately. We're also only paid 10.00/hr for drive time. Benefits are offered but are not affordable for anyone here.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that your employment experience did not meet your expectations. You’re correct that the prior six months have been a challenging growth phase for us, doubling the size of any company in a short time frame puts stress on the people and processes. I’m incredibly proud of our team for their hard work and dedication during this time. Regarding payroll, we take every employee inquiry seriously. Our technicians work hard and deserve every dollar earned. If you would like to reach out to me directly (info@guardiandallas.com), I would be happy to review your payroll at any point during your employment to determine if any mistakes were made, and if so correct them immediately. Currently, we hold companywide meeting once a month. This is our only opportunity to discuss in an open setting any changes to benefits, policy, or structure. We pay full hourly time for the meeting and provide a meal. I feel that these meetings are essential to the ability of our leadership to connect to our field staff and answer their questions. On the final point regarding safety, I would like to state that the safety of each and every team member is our top priority. We work to insure that every technician has the proper footwear, safety equipment (PPE), and training (all company provided) to execute their role in the field with zero accidents (our goal). I’m very proud of our safety record (NADCA Safety Award 5 years in a row) and will continue to work hard to insure the safety of all my employees.

Pros

On the surface this company seems like a solid place to work. The blue collar folks at this company are some of the best people I’ve come in to contact with. Hard working, easy to get a long with, give you the shirt off their back, etc. One member of the office staff came up through technician ranks and should be commended on his professionalism and work ethic; all others should look for positions outside of management because their people and leadership skills are on par with what you’d expect from a high school cheerleading squad. I’d be SHOCKED if this company hasn’t changed ownership or completely folded in the next 24 months.

Cons

**previous 5-star review was engineered by company officer, take with grain of salt.** Everything else outside of the technicians and supervisors is a joke. This company is run by cowards who will literally delegate the termination of an employee because they don’t have the backbone to do it on their own. They preach “family oriented” and everything other thing you’d like to hear when taking on a new role, but it’s all smoke and mirrors. There are no clear expectations for any role. Any request for support is met with “I don’t have time for that”, they work supervisors and technicians to death as they don’t value long term employees and don’t mind high turnover. During a discussion on company financials, I became concerned that my job was in jeopardy, so I specifically asked if it was and was told “absolutely not, everyone here is safe”. A week later I was let go via phone call.
