Pros
• Good product that is genuinely helpful (we use it internally all the time). • Great values: Guru lives by a "give first" (as opposed to "give back") philosophy, and employees are constantly involving one another in helpful social causes. • Great work/life balance. • Unlimited PTO. • Thoughtful leadership team that puts employees first. Two examples: 1. Guru was very proactive in shifting to fully remote when covid started. 2. Guru organizes lots of remote social events to help mitigate isolation brought on by Covid.
Cons
• Still a start-up, so there might be less security than at more established companies (although the company has been growing for some time).
