Pros
A company with great benefits, good people, but sadly enough, poor management.
Cons
A company that cares very little for creativity, nuance, or growth. They survive in a niche market. The day-one team still runs the show and have been promoted into roles they aren’t qualified to serve in. Micro-management and mediocrity are the norm and the upper cabinet lives in fear of the member-owned board. If you are in the click you can enjoy a flexible schedule, working from home, and visibility. If you aren’t, get used to having a limited voice, being subject to “managers discretion,” and everything taking forever to get done because no one wants to make a decision. I’ve watched smart people with great ideas get ignored all because it wasn’t coming from the one person who only likes their own ideas. Good new talent doesn’t stay long—I lasted a year, and there is little accountability for co-workers who come in and do nothing. Three CEOs and four HR Directors in just four years, it says a lot.
