Pros
Mon-Fri work schedule with weekends off.
Physical work- no time to be bored.
Worked in a different Home Depot store everyday.
Pay was great including benefits.
Flexible start time depending on current manager.
Cons
Work load was too much for one merchandiser.
If paired with a an incompetent merchandiser- you will do the work of 2 people 5 days a week. Do not dare complain. If you do, you will be seen as a whiner who is lazy.
Management will not have your back and does not care about your well being. Only cares if the job is done. They do not care if you have back pain, burnout, work with a lazy merchandiser...management does not care, period.
Lord help you if you confide in HR with a serious complaint. You will be terminated- set up and fired. Either you will be seen as having an "attitude" or someone who "can't get to work on time" even though the start time is flexible-between 4am and 6am.
